Amma's stage show Suryathejus held at Kozhikode on Thursday was a grand success.
The show which was postponed twice has made it at last. The show proved that the two M's are still the strong pillars of Malayalam film industry.
Mammootty was the compere for the evening and he did his job with utmost perfection.
Actually, Mammootty was doing a double role. He hosted the show somewhat like a dialogue between the character he played in Rajamanickyam and himself.
Mohanlal was unsurpassed in his dance steps. Lal danced to the medley of songs from his own films. Bhavana appeared with him in the peppy number Ootty Pattanam from Kilukkam while Samvruta joined him for the song Manam Thelinje ninnal from Thenmavin Kombathu.
Sandhya, Padmapriya,Meera Naandan and Jyothirmayi were also his dancing partners. The crowd was in full admiration for Lal's versatility as a dancer.
While both M's stole the show Kalabhavan Mani and Suraj also got wide applause for their comedy items.
They entertained the huge crowd with their comedy numbers. The show directed by Lal was a huge success. Suryathejus will be telecast on Surya TV on Vishu day (April 15).
